During
the year a number of organisations conduct football clinics in and out of school
times. Football clinics / camps vary from live-in, full-day, half-day, or part-day attendance. Some may be
conducted in a block within a school
holiday period. Some may be once or twice (or more) a week for a week, several
weeks, a whole term or longer.

Clinics
can be excellent avenues for enhancing a player's football experience, fitness
and skill development. Some benefits of clinics can be...

-
Increase
Season's Training Hours Dramatically. Where-as a player may attend say
15-20 hours of scheduled training over the course of their usual season they can gain almost that much again, or even a lot more,
in just one week at a clinic, thereby nearly doubling or more their training
hours for the season.

Expose
Players to Alternative Coaching Methods / Styles. Players can benefit a great
deal simply by being exposed to a different coach who uses a different style,
method or drills. This isn't to say a player's usual coaches may be lacking in any
way, yet many players can benefit from a change of style and 'scenery' from time to time. Clinics
can reinvigorate players with renewed interest in their sport.

Players
Often Learn from Very Experienced and Highly Qualified Coaches. Often
clinics especially provide the best and most qualified and experienced
coaches they can obtain. They often take special pride in presenting the
highest quality coaching teams available to them, and use such as a
promoting credit for their clinic.

We're unable to provide a list of all the clinics that may be
happening at any one time, as there's often a few and especially so during
school holidays. We can however mention some of the organisations who run
clinics from time to time. You should be able to check their web sites for
current information on their upcoming clinics or camps.
