Northside's Under 15 team – ‘Sherbelau’ have now put themselves into second place after a hard fought battle against Whitehill on the weekend. With only one goal the difference, Sherbelau managed to fight off Whitehill and claim their third consecutive win.

Four weeks ago, Sherbelau were out of place at the bottom of the table after only managing one win from their first five games.

With three wins in a row, the player’s recent run of form have put Northside level with the noted Rosewood in second place, equal on both points and goal difference.

Northside’s win against an improved Whitehill shows the team are able to manage a win even when they're not at their best. “We had trouble finding our rhythm, our passing game was a bit off today, but we never stopped trying and managed to hold them off”, said Adam who opened the scoring and added another later.

“Yeah the win was good, but we take pride in our consistency”, Micah added, referring to the team’s recent run.

Sherbelau are now in prime position to take second place outright after the Queen’s birthday weekend should they win against North Lakes.
